Hey everyone...Hope life is treating you Great...Wow! August sure has proven to be a very busy month..Seems like I've been living at the FLL airport...Have traveled twice to Oakland, CA, once to Atlanta and now on my way to Pennsylvania this weekend.  I'm excited to host the Christian Music Explosion on August 20...then heading to Jacksonville for the Blueprint for Life Conference on August 28....Very grateful for all of these wonderful opportunities..In the midst of the business I have found that the most important thing is to keep the main thing the main thing, never to lose focus of the Call and most importantly to never forget my daily quiet time with Lord...That is where my soul is refreshed and restored ...Wherever you are in your life today I encourage you to pause, reflect and speak to God and let him invade your life with the the Peace and Love that only He could give!

 

Last night  at the Dove awards I had the honor to be a part of a musical tribute for Haiti with Michael W. Smith...Amazed and humbled...Couldn't believe that I was on stage with artists like Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Nicole C Mullen, Toby Mac and many more....Thankful to God for his goodness!  Watch the Dove's this Sunday Night at 8/7!

The world has yet to see what God can do with and for and through and in and by the man who is fully and wholly consecrated to Him. I will try my utmost to be that man. -D.L. Moody I was challenged with this quote several weeks ago and since then it has stayed on my mind. This past weekend I had the privilege to go to the Hillsong United Encounter Conference here in Miami...It was Incredible! The music was amazing, the messages were inspiring beyond belief, the production was top notch...But I think the most incredible part of the weekend for me was to witness God at work in ordinary people and using them to do some pretty extraordinary exploits for His Kingdom...It is clearly evident that the Hillsong team is a group of regular, real young people that Love the Lord and are dedicated wholeheartedly to serving Him! Second Chronicles 16:9 says "For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him." I don't know about you...But I'm ready! Ready to leave the past behind, Ready to be set free from those things that limit God's full potential in my life, Ready to see God move in an Incredible way in our Land! My desire is to be that man that Dwight L. Moody talked about...a man that is fully and wholly Consecrated to Him...Will you join me...Let's Surrender to Him and together let's believe for God to be Awesome in our Midst! Love ya Guys! T

I'm sitting here looking back at the last week of my life and can't help but be amazed at God's goodness and faithfulness.  I'm very grateful for the privilege that I've had to be named Gospel Dream Winner 2009 and it really does blow my mind how good God is.  But when I think of God's goodness I must think that it goes deeper than that.

You see, scripture simply states that God is Good! So, yes I saw his goodness the moment on that stage when I was announced the  Gospel Dream winner....But what about 2 months ago when I was feeling down and was unsure about my future...was he still good..I must say Yes! What about last year when I was a bit depressed because of life's craziness...was God good then? I must say Yes....What about a couple years ago when I saw my sister struggling through an ugly divorce? I must say Yes!

You see I'm realizing that God's goodness doesn't depend on my immediate circumstances or my immediate blessings...It's simply an undisputed Fact..God is Good!  In the good times, in the bad times, in the deepest struggle and in the deepest sorrow....There is no limit to His goodnes. He simply is good!

I'm realizing that when I trust and really believe that Fact about God's Character..then and only then can I rest assured that no matter what comes my way..I'll be able to make it...Because I have someone on my side...That is truly Good!!
